About The Position
The Optometrists will provide services at the Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, Fort Cavazos, TX, under a Personal Services arrangement. This position is classified as a non-personal services contract, meaning that while the Government may evaluate the quality of services provided, it retains no control over the medical or professional aspects of the services rendered. The Contractor is solely liable for any acts or omissions by its employees or agents and must maintain liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence and $3,000,000 in the aggregate. The position requires the Optometrists to work an average of 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday. The actual schedule will be determined by the government supervisor and is subject to change based on mission requirements.
