About The Position

We’re seeking an experienced and state-licensed Optometrist who wants to focus on the future by leading and coaching quality of care and the patient experience in our existing market — Sacramento,CA. We’re looking for a Doctor of Optometry who believes in the power of eyecare within the healthcare system. This expert OD is tech-savvy, and people-focused, leading the way by helping us lead the industry in comprehensive eye care. This opportunity is in Seattle, WA and opened in 2023. Visionworks handles all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary care practices believe in providing comprehensive eye care for patients, including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. All offices include state-of-the-art equipment, including Optos California, Topcon Digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR (on an iPad) and Henson 9000 Virtual Field Analyzer. OD techs will help work up patients and provide Contact Lens teaching. Visionworks is a leading national eye care company sitting on the corner of healthcare and retail. Our Optometrists enjoy the benefits of being their own boss without the complexities of managing a practice. We provide our PC doctors with an excellent support system to help manage a successful practice while you can focus on patient care.

Requirements

• Optometrists with an entrepreneurial spirit dedicated to patent care who strongly desire to help grow the business long-term
• Candidates should have excellent clinical and people skills
• Must be committed to providing patients with the highest level of care and a wide range of services to ensure optimal eye health and vision for a lifetime

Responsibilities

• practice full-time (or part-time) providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, and visual and medical conditions
• perform patient examinations
• recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings
• handle eye emergencies
• collaborate with staff members to help deliver our commitment to improving access to healthcare
