About The Position
We’re seeking an experienced and state-licensed Optometrist to work on Monday's. We’re looking for an experienced Doctor of Optometry who believes in the power of eyecare within the healthcare system. This expert OD is tech-savvy, and people-focused, leading the way by helping us lead the industry in comprehensive eye care. This new opportunity will be located in Elk Grove, CA. If you’re relocating, Sacramento has great weather, is very affordable and less than 2 hours from Tahoe, Bay Area, and Wine Country! This is also a unique opportunity to be mentored by one of the most well-known optometric leaders in the industry—Dr. Taylor Tedder, About Us: Visionworks Doctors of Optometry enjoy the benefits of being a Doctor without the hassle of running a business. Visionworks handles all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary care practices believe in providing comprehensive eye care for patients, including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. All offices include state-of-the-art equipment, including Optos California, Topcon Digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR (on an iPad), and Henson 9000 Visual Field Analyzer. OD techs will help work up patients and provide Contact Lens teaching. Visionworks is a leading national eye care company sitting on the corner of healthcare and retail. Our Optometrists enjoy the benefits of being their own boss without the complexities of managing a practice. We provide our PC doctors with an excellent support system to help manage a successful practice while you can focus on patient care.
Requirements
- Optometrists with an entrepreneurial spirit dedicated to patent care who strongly desire to help grow the business long-term
- Candidates should have excellent clinical and people skills
- Must be committed to providing patients with the highest level of care and a wide range of services to ensure optimal eye health and vision for a lifetime
