About The Position

Provider of quality eye care for diverse patient population. Demonstrated ability to work with patients of all ages. Knowledge of medical and routine eye care standards of care. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service and the ability to provide an exceptional patient experience. Ability to meet patient volume demands through efficient and effective care. Ability to work accurately with detailed data; to multi-task while maintaining working relationships with guests, public and staff; to act independently and use good judgment; to problem solve and troubleshoot. Ability to act as a team player with the understanding that the growth and well-being of the organization is of utmost importance, while also being able to demonstrate initiative and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication, both written and verbal; Organizational and Prioritization skills; Influential motivator; Flexibility and responsiveness are essential, given the demands and challenges of a dynamic and growing organization; Diligently follows the directives of the COO, and Shareholders. Demonstrated computer literacy, including but not limited to: Electronic Health Records/Electronic Practice Management Software; Word processing software; internet & email. Grows optometric and ophthalmology practice using various marketing tools, including face-to-face appointments with primary care physicians All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
  • Valid Texas license to practice optometry
  • Knowledge of medical and routine eye care standards of care.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing excellent customer service and the ability to provide an exceptional patient experience.
  • Ability to meet patient volume demands through efficient and effective care.
  • Ability to work accurately with detailed data.
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining working relationships with guests, public and staff.
