About The Position

Opportunity: We’re seeking an experienced and state-licensed Optometrist who wants to a to fill in from time to time as needed in our six locations throughout Greater Sacramento Area. Locations include: Natomas, Folsom, Howe Bout Arden, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Roseville About Us: Visionworks Doctors of Optometry enjoy the benefits of being a Doctor without the hassle of running a business. Visionworks handles all insurance billing, credentialing, staff hiring & training, and administrative work. Our primary care practices believe in providing comprehensive eye care for patients, including routine exams, contact lens evaluations, and medical treatment for eye diseases. All offices include state-of-the-art equipment, including Optos California, Topcon Digital phoropters, Eyefinity EMR (on an iPad), and Henson 9000 Visual Field Analyzer. OD techs will help work up patients and provide Contact Lens teaching. Visionworks is a leading national eye care company sitting on the corner of healthcare and retail. Our Optometrists enjoy the benefits of being their own boss without the complexities of managing a practice. We provide our PC doctors with an excellent support system to help manage a successful practice while you can focus on patient care. What You'll Do: As part of Visionworks “#Oneteam”, you'll practice full-time (or part-time) providing comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages, and visual and medical conditions. You'll perform patient examinations, recommend vision-enhancing solutions based on prescription findings, handle eye emergencies, and collaborate with staff members to help deliver our commitment to improving access to healthcare. Who We're Seeking: Optometrists with an entrepreneurial spirit dedicated to patent care who strongly desire to help grow the business long-term. Candidates should have excellent clinical and people skills. Must be committed to providing patients with the highest level of care and a wide range of services to ensure optimal eye health and vision for a lifetime.
