The Role: The Optometrist (OD ) is simply the “best-of-the best” in the field of optometry. This individual cares greatly about delivering the highest quality optometric care to Visionworks patients and customers. A Visionworks Optometrist is a business- and tech-savvy person who not only provides clinical diagnosis, treatment and management of visual and ocular disorders and diseases, but recommends eyewear solutions to suit our patients/customers’ vision needs.

Requirements

Valid, state Optometric license required.

Responsibilities

Practice Optometry in accordance with clinical guidelines set forth by the American Optometric Association and American Academy of Optometry
Establish a positive and professional Doctor/Patient relationship and provide highest level of quality care as it relates to overall general/ocular health
Supports field leadership, GM, and all associates to provide seamless patient/customer journey and deliver organizations financial and performance goals
Uncover patient visual and eye health needs and prescribe solutions and/or referrals to meet and exceed those needs
Always on top of the latest tech and trends in optical to provide a “best in class” patient experience
