About The Position

Join a thriving, patient-centered private practice specializing in ocular disease. This is an excellent opportunity for both new graduates and experienced optometrists seeking a supportive environment with growth potential. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, comprehensive eye care, focusing on ocular disease management Conduct thorough eye exams (average 3 per hour; daily average of 15-18 patients) Utilize advanced diagnostic technology, including Maestro OCT, fundus camera, visual field analyzer, autorefractor, B scan, and Icare tonometry Collaborate with a dedicated team of technicians and front desk personnel Maintain accurate patient records (currently paper charting; transition to Nextech EHR planned) Deliver patient care in a busy, diverse community Flexibility to see patients both in-person and virtually (Zoom or FaceTime) Position Details: Part-time: Tuesdays and/or Thursdays (11 AM – 5 or 6 PM; flexible) Starting from $600+ per day with growth potential Bonus structure available for full-time roles Future partnership or ownership opportunity possible after a 6-12 month trial period Supportive, technology-driven environment Car required due to limited public transport; parking lot provided How to Apply: If you are passionate about ocular disease, value teamwork, and are looking for a long-term career opportunity in a private practice setting, this role offers an exciting path for growth and professional development. Requirements

  • A valid state optometry license or one actively being obtained is required.
  • 4th-year students encouraged to apply.
