What you'll do: As a part-time Optometrist, you'll work Mondays and Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, providing comprehensive eye care using advanced technology such as Zeiss OCT, IOL Master, Optomap Scanner, and digital office instruments, with Eyefinity EHR. Responsibilities include conducting thorough eye exams, performing emergency eye health checks, managing all types of contact lenses, including scleral lenses, utilizing OCT and topographer, and staying informed about the latest optical products. Strong communication skills are essential, as you'll care for 13 to 15 patients per day alongside another doctor in a collaborative and modern clinical environment. Who you are: The ideal candidate is a licensed Optometrist in California with a clean record, exceptional technical and communication skills, and a genuine ability to listen and connect with patients, ensuring a positive, welcoming environment that encourages return visits. Confident in handling a wide variety of patients and visual needs, you are committed to staying current with advancements in optometry and personalized care, supporting the practice’s reputation for excellence and ongoing growth. Experience with glaucoma is especially valued. While part-time benefits are limited to those required by California law, additional terms may be available for an outstanding candidate.
