About The Position
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Optometrist to join our team. As an Optometrist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients in long-term care facilities. Requirements
- OD license
- DEA License
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand / walk / work on your feet up to 6-8 hours per day
Responsibilities
- Perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
- Perform dilated exams
- Provide diabetic evaluations
- Treatment of infection and injury
- Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
- Proficient in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
- Comfortable working with the geriatric population
