With a full spectrum of services, including glasses and expert contact lens fittings, foreign body removals, Plaquenil and glaucoma testing, and comprehensive diabetic eye exams, the compassionate team uses advanced technology and deep expertise to deliver outstanding results. Every visit is tailored to ensure comfort and effectiveness, underscoring their strong dedication to patient well-being and clear vision. What you'll do: As an Optometrist at this thriving Cochranton practice, you'll enjoy a rewarding and varied workday, providing compassionate care for patients of all ages and backgrounds. Each day brings new opportunities, from performing routine exams for children to addressing age-related vision changes and managing complex eye conditions. With access to advanced technology, including Pachymeter, Tonopen, HFA Visual Fields with Liquid Lens, Olleyes Visual Fields Tester, and OCT, you'll ensure accurate diagnoses and customized treatment plans. This full-time role requires a minimum of 36 working hours per week, with the possibility to take on additional hours if desired. Typically, you'll see one patient per hour. You will be part of a cooperative team of opticians and administrative professionals, all committed to providing smooth and exceptional care for every patient during their visit. Who you are: You're highly skilled and capable of confidently handling a diverse range of patients with varying visual needs and age groups. The ideal candidate can manage patients from 9 months old through end of life and has experience in cataract co-management.
