A well-established, multi-location optometric practice is seeking a motivated associate optometrist to join their dynamic team in New York. This position offers a unique opportunity for career advancement, including the potential for future practice ownership—though ownership interest is not required. Practice Highlights: Known for delivering personalized, patient-centered care with a strong referral network of doctors, hospitals, and specialists Comprehensive services: primary eye care, contact lenses, ocular disease management, with a focus on pediatrics, vision therapy, and rehabilitation Open to expanding services; candidates with an interest in sports vision, OrthoK, and specialty lens fits are encouraged to apply State-of-the-art technology: multiple refraction lanes, OCT, Visual Fields, OPTOS, or Maestro available at all locations Supportive team environment: front desk staff, pretesting technicians, optical support, and cross-trained vision therapists Role Details: Locations: Mt. Kisco and/or Mahopac, NY (these turnkey locations could also be available for immediate purchase for interested candidates) Additional Locations: Further locations in CT - CT license (or willingness to obtain) in addition to NY license would be desirable Schedule: Flexible part-time or full-time arrangements (35+ hours/week qualify for benefits) Patient flow: Typically two patients per hour, with 15-minute emergency visits, 30-minute routine exams, and 45-minute appointments for complex/new patients Compensation: $70/hour or $650 per diem plus 1% of gross, with increasing percentages for every $200,000 generated per quarter Benefits: 401K, health and dental insurance, paid holidays, continuing education Career Advancement: Partnership or ownership opportunities are available immediately for those interested Associates not seeking ownership are equally welcome and will enjoy a supportive, growth-oriented environment Training provided on advanced equipment and specialty services as needed Application Process: Initial screening with Eyetastic Services, followed by a phone interview, then an in-person interview to view the clinic.
