About The Position

The Optometrist will provide high-quality optometry care at the WFM Vision Clinic under a temporary, one-year agreement. This position is designed to meet the vision care needs of patients while adhering to the Center’s policies and standards. The Optometrist will work collaboratively with clinic staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and compliance with all administrative requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient optometry services, including comprehensive eye exams and vision care.
• Complete administrative requirements related to patient care, including documentation in patient charts, communication with patients, and responding to in-basket messages and tasks in the electronic health record.
• Adhere to the Center’s policies, including Completion of Non-Hospital Medical Records and other relevant guidelines.
• Actively practice optometry on behalf of the Center as defined in the employment agreement.
• Fulfill the Center’s optometry care needs, meeting productivity benchmarks, and completing clinical and administrative duties.
• Initial duties shall consist solely of outpatient clinical services.
• Employment will include the activities provided for in the Center’s Application for Optometrist Privileges.
