About The Position

A dedicated part-time or full-time associate doctor is sought to join an enthusiastic team at a vibrant office located in Seguin, Texas. As a private group practice, this establishment takes pride in delivering comprehensive eye care in a welcoming environment. About the Practice: This office specializes in full scope optometry, offering a balanced mix of routine and medical eye care services. Typically, the schedule consists of three exams per hour, averaging about 15 exams each day. Innovative technology, including Optos, OCT, topography, and visual field assessments, is utilized to conduct thorough evaluations. With a full-service optical on-site, the practice is well-equipped to meet the diverse needs of its patients. The current team comprises six full-time professionals, including opticians and technicians, who work collaboratively to deliver the highest possible care.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license or in the process of obtaining

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and providing accurate diagnoses.
• Provide contact lens exams and fittings tailored to individual patient needs.
• Managing and treating various ocular conditions, including medical emergencies.
• Prescribing corrective lenses and recommending appropriate treatment options.
• Collaborating with optical staff and technicians to ensure seamless patient care.
• Maintaining accurate patient records using the EHR system.
