About The Position

Topa Topa Optometry, Inc., established in 1987 by husband-and-wife team Bruce Brockman, OD, and Bridget Tsao, OD, is committed to providing exceptional eye care solutions tailored to each patient's health and vision needs. The practice serves a diverse clientele, including families, small-business owners, farmers, and retirees, while emphasizing personalized care and a warm, attentive approach. With a deep understanding of the community's unique needs, the team at Topa Topa specializes in eye disease management, comprehensive eye exams, children's eye care, and LASIK and refractive surgery co-management. Utilizing advanced technologies such as retinal imaging and evidence-based treatments, the skilled team ensures optimal eye health for every patient. With a long-tenured staff and an established patient base, the practice continues to uphold its small-town personality while delivering outstanding service. As the newest full-time optometrist, you will join a dedicated team of seven employees to conduct routine comprehensive exams and provide exceptional patient care. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
  • 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties
