Requirements

  • Doctor of Optometry Degree (OD) from an Accredited School of Optometry.
  • State Licensed or will be licensed to practice Optometry in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and treat anterior and posterior segment pathology.
  • Diagnose and treat ocular diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.
  • Perform procedures including removal of foreign bodies and treatment of corneal ulcers and uveitis.
  • Provide comprehensive eye examinations and prescribe corrective lenses as needed.
  • Educate patients on eye health and preventive care.
