Optometrist

About the position

We are looking for an Optometrist who is passionate about community health and family medicine. This healthcare professional should be committed to working with underserved patient populations and be a motivated, mission-driven clinician eager to contribute to our growth and their own. Responsibilities

• Practice to the full extent of your license and offer a wide variety of services including completing eye exams for glasses and contacts.
• Diagnosing and treating eye diseases and abnormalities.
• Conducting and evaluating diagnostic testing.
• Removing foreign bodies from the eye.
• Writing prescriptions.
• Counseling patients and other health professionals on eye health issues.
• Communicating with doctors, staff, and patients.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) Degree
• Current CA Optometric License
• Current DEA Certification
