Requirements

  • Licensed Optometrist in Missouri.
  • Strong commitment to continuous learning.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Ability to handle a diverse range of patients with varying visual needs and age groups.

  • Experience in community engagement and volunteer work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive optometric care to patients of all ages.
  • Address a variety of visual and medical diagnoses.
  • Manage chronic ocular diseases such as diabetes, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and ocular surface disease.
  • Provide acute medical care for abrasions, infections, foreign bodies, and surgical co-management.
  • Utilize advanced technology such as Optos, OCT, Virtual VF, ERG, IPL, Thermal Pulsation, AdaptDx, Neurolens, Keratograph, and an In-office finishing lab.
  • Engage with the community through volunteer efforts and participation in service organizations like the Lions Club.
  • Collaborate with a team of opticians and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
