About The Position

Tran Vision Center, a leading full-scope optometry practice in Laredo, Texas, is seeking a full-time optometrist to join their highly regarded team. With a patient wait list extending several months, the practice is eager to welcome an associate optometrist as soon as possible to help ease scheduling demands, enhance efficiency, and ensure exceptional care for both new and established patients. Established in 1993, Tran Vision Center has built a reputation as Laredo, Texas’s leading full-scope optometry practice, consistently recognized for its exceptional patient care and commitment to excellence. With a dedicated team of 14 employees supporting one full-time and one part-time optometrists, the practice serves approximately 35 patients a day, ensuring personalized attention and high-quality service at every visit. Whether seeking routine eye exams, personalized prescription lenses, or specialized treatments, the practice's state-of-the-art technology and expertise guarantee optimal outcomes for each patient.

Requirements

  • Valid Texas optometry license.
  • Ability to conduct exams in Spanish is a significant advantage.
  • Strong expertise in pathology and contact lenses.
  • Eager to stay current with the latest developments in optometry.
  • Ability to create personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

  • Care for a diverse range of patients, from young children needing routine eye exams to seniors experiencing age-related vision changes.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art equipment, including OCT, a visual field analyzer, fundus photography, a digital refraction system, a corneal topographer, non-contact tonometry, and an autorefractor to perform comprehensive eye tests.
  • Collaborate with a talented team of dedicated professionals to ensure a seamless and compassionate experience for each patient.

  • Base salary: $165,000 - $180,000/yr.
