About The Position

An Independent Doctor of Optometry affiliated with LensCrafters (Luxottica) seeks an Associate Optometrist. You will work within the practice of a LensCrafters Subleasing Optometrist as an employee or contracted doctor. As a private Independent practice, Luxottica operates the optical dispensary while the Affiliated Doctor operates the Doctors office and provides high quality optometric care and service to patients. Working as an Associate Doctor of Optometry within the practice, the terms of agreement, practice model, pay and hours are all negotiated directly between you and the Subleasing doctor.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry degree
• State licensure to practice optometry
• Ability to work independently and manage patient care

Nice To Haves

• Experience with digital eye examination technology
• Previous experience in a retail optical environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality optometric care and service to patients
• Negotiate terms of agreement, practice model, pay, and hours with the Subleasing Doctor
• Utilize advanced digital eye examination technology
• Manage patient appointments and recall system
