Premier Eyecare Associates, a well-established practice with five locations in North Central Missouri, is seeking an Associate Optometrist to join its growing team. As a trusted regional provider of comprehensive eye care services, the practice is dedicated to enhancing lives through vision. Established in 1991, Premier Eyecare Associates is a leading provider of full-service eye care, offering expertise in contact lenses, primary care, medical eye care, and surgical co-management. With a patient-centered approach, Premier offers the full spectrum of eye care services and collaborates with leading specialists, including Moyes Eye Center, Retina Associates of Columbia, and Restoration Eyecare, to provide advanced care within its offices. Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Optometric Program.
  • Passage of National Boards.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and provide care for patients while developing business aspects for the practice.
  • Provide comprehensive eye and contact lens exams, diagnosing and managing ocular disease.
  • Fit contact lenses and recommend eyewear, vision-enhancing products, and contact lenses for long-term use.
  • Treat 10 to 12 patients daily, with a goal of increasing to 22 to 24 patients per day over six months.
  • Collaborate with a team of opticians and administrative staff to create a seamless and compassionate experience for each patient.
