About The Position

Located in Northeast Ohio, My Vision Centers is looking to add a part-time or full-time optometrist to their team. Founded in 1997, My Vision Centers is a well-established and expanding eyecare provider with five locations across Northeast Ohio, including Garrettsville, Youngstown, Middlefield, North Olmsted and Geneva. The organization is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care through advanced diagnostic technology, continuous employee training, and a compassionate, patient-centered approach. With a team of 22 skilled professionals, My Vision Center offers comprehensive vision services in state-of-the-art facilities, with a goal of including in-house lens cutting and edging. Guided by its mission, the practice prioritizes patient education, helping individuals understand the connection between their eye health and overall well-being. As the practice continues to grow, it remains committed to fostering a collaborative work environment and making a positive impact in the community it serves.

Requirements

  • Optometry license in the state of Ohio.
  • Strong commitment to delivering exceptional eye care services.
  • Effective communication and decision-making skills.
  • Self-motivated and open-minded, staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations, including refraction and fundus photography.
  • Use cutting-edge technology such as Virtual Visual Field, Visionix VX110 auto-refraction and keratomery, Visionix Eye Refract system, Topcon Maestro2, and Visionix VX40 autolensometer.
  • Perform and interpret OCT scans and visual field tests.
  • Monitor intraocular pressure for glaucoma.
  • Employ the latest therapies to diagnose and treat dry eye conditions.
  • Provide patients with the best eyewear options, including frames and lenses.
