With plans to double in size and opportunities for future partnership, the practice offers an exciting career path for the right candidate. Part of a three-practice, independently owned group, the practice is open to hiring across multiple offices, providing flexibility and a chance to be a part of a dynamic, expanding team. Founded in 2004, Mt. Airy Eye Care is dedicated to delivering exceptional vision care. The practice is known for its welcoming culture, advanced medical optometry expertise, and specialty in contact lenses. Supported by a skilled team of five dedicated professionals, the practice stays at the forefront of both medical technology and eyewear trends, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.

Requirements

• Optometry license in the state of Maryland.
• Skilled in providing comprehensive medical optometric care.
• Capable of fitting a wide range of contact lenses.
• Ability to handle a diverse range of patients with varying visual needs and age groups.

Nice To Haves

• Enthusiastic about staying up to date on the latest advancements in optometry.
• Experience in personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Practice full-scope optometry with a focus on medical optometry.
• Treat approximately 3 patients an hour.
• Utilize state-of-the-art equipment such as OCT, Visual Field, and Optos for accurate assessments and precise diagnosis.
