Elliott Eye Doctors & The Optical Shoppe is a well-established private optometry practice that has been providing specialized medical, optometric, and optical services to patients for over 30 years across the towns of Foxboro, Milford, and Norton. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Optometric Assistants. This full-time position offers a flexible 40-hour schedule, with the requirement to travel and rotate between our three locations. Our offices are open Monday through Saturday, with some later evening shifts, and all locations are closed on Sundays. The working hours will vary between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, and candidates should be prepared to adapt to these varying shift times. As an Optometric Assistant, you will play a crucial role in patient care by performing essential tasks such as patient work-ups and pretesting for the doctor or optician. You will also be responsible for recording ancillary testing using modern technology, stocking and restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Additional duties may include scanning and uploading documents, answering phones, and booking appointments as assigned by management. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a positive, friendly customer service attitude. On-the-job training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to start their careers in the optical field.
