About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Optometric Technician to join this growing team on a per diem or hourly basis. This is a part-time, temporary position to cover for a staff member currently on leave, with no confirmed return date. The role is expected to last several months, with the possibility of becoming permanent depending on staffing needs. Requirements
- A detail-oriented professional with relevant eye care experience (certification not required).

Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly manner
- Obtain and document patient histories and preliminary testing
- Perform visual acuity testing, tonometry, and other pre-exam procedures
- Operate and maintain optometric equipment
- Assist optometrists during examinations and with procedures as needed
- Manage patient flow and assist with administrative duties as required
- Maintain sterile and organized workspaces
- Support other team members as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
