We are seeking a highly motivated, self-starting optimizer with a growth mind set and track record of extraordinary delivery in a dynamic work environment. You will work directly with operations personnel to tackle problems through data insight. You will develop holistic solutions and improvements to on-going oilfield problems.

  • Collaborate with operations team to identify widespread issues and build a data-centric strategy to properly address them.
  • Review coding daily to verify accuracy and promptly communicate issues to responsible parties for resolution.
  • Execute remote setpoint adjustments (e.g., auto choke, ESP, gas lift injection targets) to optimize production and maintain well uptime.
  • Collaborate with operations team to systematically improve cost, safety, and production performance through data-driven insights.
  • Conduct weekly deep dives of well trends via PiVision, Cygnet & PowerBI to verify well health and identify anomalies to escalate to the operations team.
  • Responsible for morning dispatch to communicate newly identified opportunities and ensure timely execution by production technicians.
  • Enhance field capabilities by partnering with production technicians to build technical skillsets and improve operational decision-making.
  • Monitor, validate, and respond to alarms by coordinating with field teams, troubleshooting root causes and taking corrective actions to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
  • Coordinate with midstream during upsets to collaboratively reduce production and restore stable operations.
  • Drive improvements to optimization tools (Power BI, PiVision) to deliver intuitive, value-driven insights for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Conduct field visits to strengthen relationships, gather firsthand insights and ensure practical implementation of optimization strategies.
  • Develop KPIs for field wide optimization of artificial lift wells that focus on driving production and well reliability.
  • Background in data visualization, with experience in Tableau, Spotfire, or PowerBI.
  • Experience pulling data using SQL queries, and fundamental understanding of SQL database architecture.
  • Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, or STEM-related field.
  • Understanding of Oil and Gas industry.
  • Proven experience using statistical analysis to solve problems.
