Adelson Eye & Laser Center is seeking an Optician to join their team in Northville, Michigan. This role involves working closely with patients to meet their visual needs and ensuring a high level of service in a well-established practice.

Responsibilities

• Working with patients to select the best frame and lens combination to fit their individual needs.
• Finding solutions for all patients' visual needs.
• Knowing appropriate lens designs and products for each situation.
• Taking measurements and fitting eyeglasses for patients.
• Adjusting and repairing eyewear.
• Placing orders and billing insurance as needed, following up on lab orders, and checking in eyewear for accuracy and quality.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of previous experience as an Optician or Optometric Technician required.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills are a must.
• Must be organized, flexible, and versatile with the ability to function effectively in stressful situations.
• Must work well with others, be patient and kind.
