About The Position

Responsibilities

  • Assist with purchasing decisions and locate merchandise.

  • Maintain merchandise presentation by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays.
  • Remove damaged goods and sign and price merchandise appropriately.
  • Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
  • Maintain the sales floor in the Optical area according to company policies.
  • Handle claims and returns, zone the area, and organize merchandise.
  • Receive and stock merchandise in the Optical area.
  • Organize and maintain the Optical area by following company procedures.
  • Operate hardware such as cash registers and process member purchases.
  • Assist in payments, returns, refunds, and exchanges.
  • Sell Optical products and services and assist members with purchasing decisions.
  • Measure, adjust, and repair frames and lenses.
  • Complete eyewear and contact lens orders and verify prescription information.
  • Collect payments for doctor services and perform optometric pretests.
