ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an Optician I (HSPP) for 2nd Shift to support our programs. These operators will play a key role in expanding capacity on both existing and new equipment, ensuring production goals are met with precision and efficiency.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in optical fabrication or related manufacturing environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Basic computer skills for data entry and process documentation

Nice To Haves

• Experience with High-Speed Polishing Processes (HSPP)
• Familiarity with precision optical components and coatings
• Previous experience in a defense or aerospace manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain high-speed polishing equipment for optical components
• Ensure compliance with production schedules and quality standards
• Perform inspections and measurements to verify component accuracy
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and optimize processes
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used
