About The Position

The Optician/Float position is essential in providing excellent patient care in a busy optical practice. Requirements

• 1 year of experience in eye care and eyewear (preferred).
• 2 years of optical experience (required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• ABO certification (preferred).

Nice To Haves

• Sales experience (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

• Learn Electronic Health Records system quickly and accurately, specifically Crystal PM.
• Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills in daily tasks.
• Maintain a positive, enthusiastic, and accountable work ethic.
• Assist in various office tasks as needed, including scheduling patients and contact lens training.
• Communicate confidently and professionally over the phone.
• Verify and communicate insurance fees, processes, and benefits accurately.
• Demonstrate strict attention to detail in a multi-tasking environment.
