Conduct technical feasibility studies and risk analyses for next-generation optical module solutions in both IMDD and coherent systems across various application scenarios. Lead the technology and product development for next-generation optical transceivers, including system architecture, simulation, circuit and optics design, process development, testing, and performance optimization. Requirements

  • Strong familiarity with direct-detection and coherent optical communication architectures, including optical link and network-level requirements.
  • Deep technical knowledge of high-speed optical transceiver components such as DSPs, drivers, TIAs, and optical elements including lasers, MZMs, EMLs, and photodetectors.
  • Ability to analyze and quantify the impact of various system impairments, including noise, crosstalk, nonlinearity, reflections, and dispersion on optical module performance.
  • Hands-on experience in high-speed hardware development, including RF modeling, design principles, and understanding of process limitations.
  • Leadership experience in managing cross-functional engineering teams, setting technical direction, and driving project execution to achieve development milestones.
  • Familiar with key engineering software tools, including: MATLAB and Python for data analysis, automation, algorithm development, and simulation implementation ADS, HFSS for RF and electromagnetic modeling VPI for optical link simulation
