Requirements

• Prior experience in an eyecare setting is required.
• A strong emphasis on efficiency, effectiveness, and meticulous attention to detail in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients with warmth and professionalism, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
• Manage all incoming and outgoing calls, skillfully handling appointment requests and addressing patient inquiries.
• Demonstrate empathy and attentiveness to effectively understand and meet patient needs.
• Support office operations by preparing charts, updating records, and assisting with office opening and closing tasks.
• Maintain inventory and order contact lens supplies as needed.
• Spend dedicated time with patients before their doctor visits, performing essential preliminary assessments, including measuring retinal function, peripheral vision, and capturing retinal photographs using advanced equipment.
• Accurately document and organize patient exam notes, order diagnostic tests per the doctor's recommendations, and code procedures precisely.
• Engage in ongoing cross-training to foster personal and professional growth within the practice.
