About The Position
At Success Vision Express, we are dedicated to helping the world see better. We are a thriving one-hour optical service looking to hire friendly and motivated individuals who have a passion for helping others. This position offers an incredible opportunity to start your career as an optician, assisting patients in finding their perfect pair of glasses, or as a Lab Technician, where you will learn the art of cutting lenses and making glasses. No previous optical experience is required, making this a great entry point into the optical field. After training, the average compensation exceeds $16.00 per hour, including commissions, with the potential for five raises within the first 18 months. Success Vision Express is committed to providing affordable eye-care, with a strong focus on humanitarian work in underserved countries. Our U.S.-based optometry offices and optical retail stores are designed to deliver excellence in medical eye-care, contacts, and glasses. We are passionate about ensuring our products and services are of the highest quality while remaining convenient and affordable for our customers. Our missional focus is integral to our operations, characterized by our humanitarian work, which we define as "Medical Missions." Each year, we partner with faith-based mission organizations such as Soulteam and YWAM to coordinate medical missions trips to underserved countries. Employees have the opportunity to lead and serve through these efforts, with many traveling as part of the medical missions team, while others contribute through donation collection and project administration. These trips, lasting ten to twelve days, have proven to be life-changing for many participants.
