Responsibilities

  • Validation, characterization, and production test development of optical Transceiver products.
  • Involvement in initial phases of NPI/design to drive DFT/DFM to meet yield/improve test coverage goals.
  • Influence decisions affecting architecture, calibration, test flow and design-for-test during product design phase.
  • Work cross functionally with marketing, design, quality assurance, product and applications engineering teams.
  • Work with Product Engineering to monitor/sustain current product flow in production with offshore contract manufacturing ensuring that cost, delivery and yield goals are met.
  • Collect and condense data from characterization, quality and production tests, analyze statistics, summarize results and set product test limits.
  • Provide product debug and failure analysis support for RMA as needed and use results to drive continuous test improvement.
