Program Overview Stats Perform summer internship program is a paid 8 week full-time internship. Interns work together and individually within the organization to gain valuable experience and make an impact in sports technology. Not only will Stats Perform Interns have hands on experience in their field of study but there are awesome perks too! There will be activities, training sessions with other Stats Perform employees, and an end-of-summer presentation.

Requirements

Strong writing ability with particular interest advanced sports analytics.
Experience with social content execution and social strategy on mainstream social media platforms, including Twitter and Instagram.
Knowledge of AP Style and a newsroom's editorial process.
Willing and able to meet multiple deadlines to ensure content is produced in a timely fashion.
Outstanding knowledge of a wide variety of sports.
Should be a self-starter with solid communication and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with multimedia, including video and podcasting (is a plus but not necessary).

Responsibilities

Write engaging and informative articles, blog posts, and social media content related to sports and sports analytics.
Stay informed on current sports news and trends, generating content that keeps audiences engaged.
Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
Analyze social media performance metrics and make adjustments to the strategy as needed.
Edit and format audio and video content for various platforms.
Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality content.
