About The Position

The Office of the Clerk is seeking candidates for the position of OPS Verifier. This is full-time temporary employment during the legislative session (December 8, 2025 through April 10, 2026).

Requirements

  • Applicants must have received a Bachelor’s degree with a major in English or journalism.
  • Extensive experience in editorial work, journalism, or technical writing may substitute for the required degree.

Responsibilities

  • Proofreading manuscripts giving special attention to grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Verifying the accuracy of printed materials prepared by the Clerk’s Office.
  • Extensive evening work with compensation is required for this temporary position during legislative sessions.
