The position requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree. Candidates must have at least six months of experience in relevant areas such as package handling at FedEx, working in fast-paced environments (retail, hospitality, fulfillment center, warehouse, dock, or stock room functions), military experience with honorable discharge, or supervisory experience. In lieu of experience, candidates may substitute with a certification program or an Associate's Degree in a related area, or two or more years of college courses towards a Bachelor's degree. The role demands strong leadership skills, the ability to inspire and motivate a team, and effective communication skills to interact with diverse groups. Candidates should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications, and possess the ability to mentor and coach others.
