Job Description: This job is responsible for providing moderately complex research, reporting, and analytical support for the delivery of end-to-end support for Global Markets sales, trading and underwriting business for securities, foreign exchange, fixed income, exchange traded derivatives, and over-the-counter derivatives across multiple Lines of Business. Key responsibilities include carrying out duties under general supervision and assisting teammates while following established procedures. LOB Description: The successful candidate will work closely with the Prime Broker business as well as other lines of businesses such as Global Wealth and Investment Management to complete manual processing of payments (wires) and journal entries to ensure books and records are accurately reflected as per business requests. The associate will perform research on wire payments to resolve payment queries, and complete manual Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctions scanning as needed. Any breaks as a result of the payment process will be investigated and remediated by the associate. The associate will be involved in the wire approval process as well as monitoring various team inboxes to ensure completeness. There will also be an opportunity to be involved in enterprise wide payments initiatives to automate, simplify and improve the team processes. In addition to the businesses, the candidate will work closely with Back Office, Technology, and other support partners. The candidate will need to have a high sense of urgency, ability to multi-task and communicate effectively. Successful candidate will display a passion for leveraging data and emerging technologies including AI such as Copilot, and advanced analytics to enhance operational efficiency and drive innovation is highly desirable. Familiarity with data analysis tools, automation techniques, and AI-driven solutions will be considered a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains accuracy of client portfolio using internal and external comparison tools
  • Performs research and conducts moderately complex analyses using established techniques, including transactions that require special handling and exception handling
  • Explores methods to enhance processes, further reduce risks, and boost client experience
  • Partners with colleagues on the trade and sales support teams, as well as external agents
  • Creates reports and liaises with internal partners to ensure proper client reporting and assist with regulatory reporting
  • Escalates potential risks and exposures to manager in a timely manner
  • Assists with ad-hoc projects, new processes, or initiatives requiring coordination among subject matter experts representing multiple product areas or functions
