The OPS Research and Training Specialist is a member of the Workforce Training & Coordination Unit within the Bureau of One-Stop and Program Support, Division of Workforce Services. This position supports statewide training activities for workforce development programs such as the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, Wagner-Peyser, Welfare Transition and Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program – Employment & Training, and other workforce development programs. Additionally, this position supports professional development training for internal and external staff. We are seeking a candidate that can assist in developing and delivering innovative workforce training programs for Local Workforce Development Boards and their staff, and coordinate with internal business units to ensure the accuracy and quality of training materials. The ideal candidate is experienced in training and development activities, delivering training to adult learners across multiple platforms (in-person, online and via webinar), maintaining learning management systems and working with subject matter experts to build content for training materials and delivery.
