About The Position

Tallahassee State College (TSC), recently recognized as one of the Most Promising Places to Work in Community Colleges for 2025, is excited to announce a part-time opportunity for the position of OPS Lab Assistant with the Science Lab. Requirements

• Graduation from a standard high school or equivalency diploma.
• Previous lab experience preferred (e.g. successful completion of a lab class, or prior work in a lab), but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Set up and dismantle freshman and sophomore labs in Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Earth Science, Microbiology, and Anatomy and Physiology.
• Move and set up equipment, make solutions, culture bacteria, and clean glassware in accordance with lab manuals and safe laboratory practice.
