About The Position
The Florida Department of Veterans' Affairs is seeking a motivated, dynamic individual to join our team as an OPS Health Information Specialist at the Clyde Lassen State Veterans' Nursing Home in St. Augustine, FL. This position involves processing, maintaining, controlling, receiving, distributing, and purging medical records in accordance with Federal and State guidelines, policies, and procedures. The incumbent will work under the direction of the Home Administrator and will be responsible for maintaining all resident records, analyzing records for deficiencies, managing the release of information functions, and participating in the development of facility policies and procedures.
