Our Mission: Managing fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and the benefit of people. Every organization has an identity that is forged not only by what it does, but by how it conducts itself.  The values embedded in our mission and expressed in the vision of the FWC are to make quality decisions by being dynamic, science-informed, efficient, ethical, collaborative and committed to the vitality of the state and its environment. Surveys may also be required to be conducted independently. Collect related data on nest success and productivity. Management Practices: Assist with posting regulatory signage for management at Critical Wildlife Areas and other priority shorebird nesting sites. Maintain signs that are posted around nesting sites throughout the season, especially immediately following storms or other disturbance events. This work often requires effective coordination with managers of the sites where posting is being conducted. Construct and maintain decoys and electric fencing at a social attraction site.
