About The Position

Proctors are needed to assist with medical school computer-based examinations. All exams take place on the Tallahassee central campus. Responsibilities include: Escort students when they leave the test room for unscheduled breaks (e.g., bathroom). Monitor student behavior during computer-based exams and report any concerns of irregularities to the Chief Proctor. Assist in maintaining exam security procedures in the event of an unexpected disruption (e.g., fire alarm). Assignment to specific dates and times will be made at the beginning of the semester (August and January) based on matching Proctor requests and COM needs (5-6 proctors per exam). Proctors are expected to fulfill agreed schedules.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proctors should conduct themselves in a manner that is mature, responsible, and respectfully assertive.
  • This job is most appropriate for candidates with flexible availability/schedules.
  • You cannot proctor if you are a potential examinee, relative of an examinee, involved in/planning to be involved in examination review courses, publications, or similar programs for which a fee is charged.
