About The Position

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce a part-time opening for the position of Customer Service Representative at the Florida Public Safety Institute. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in front desk, administrative support, retail, or operations role preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn point-of-sale (POS) systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional demeanor and appearance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, staff, vendors and store customers.
  • Be the main point of contact for phone calls and in-person inquiries.
  • Process mail, packages, and deliveries – while maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk/reception area.
  • Assist with other operations- or store-related projects and tasks as assigned.
