The position involves performing various Call Center functions while directly assisting students and families with educational inquiries. The role requires coordination with the Assistant Director of One-Stop to oversee call center operations, providing assistance via telephone and written correspondence. Responsibilities include day-to-day departmental operations, training and supervising student staff, and collecting and analyzing data in compliance with FERPA rules. The position also involves collaboration in institutional policy-making and contributing to student enrollment and retention efforts. The OPS Coordinator will support the One-Stop Call Center in the absence of the Assistant Director, addressing student issues in line with departmental policies. Expected performance levels will be established, and the role requires functioning in a collaborative environment.

  • Perform Call Center functions to assist students and families with educational questions.
  • Oversee inbound and/or outbound call center operations.
  • Provide assistance over the telephone and through written correspondence.
  • Assist with day-to-day operations of the department.
  • Train and supervise student staff.
  • Collect and analyze data in compliance with FERPA rules.
  • Collaborate in institutional policy-making.
  • Plan and implement regular assessments, including surveys and feedback.
  • Support One-Stop in supervising student employees in the absence of the Assistant Director.
  • Address issues raised by students consistent with department policies.
  • Function in a collaborative environment and make decisions consistent with departmental expectations.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
  • Experience working in a customer service setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both spoken and written).
  • Capacity to learn and implement conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Cannot be a current UNF student.
