About The Position

OPIS, a Dow Jones company, provides price transparency across the global fuel supply chain, including the Spot, Wholesale Rack and Retail markets. OPIS enables customers to buy and sell energy commodities with confidence with multi-platform access to accurate data, real-time news, powerful software and educational events. For nearly two decades, OPIS has been a leader in providing real-time news, policy insights, price benchmarks and deep expertise in the biofuels sector, carbon markets, low-carbon fuel crediting programs and renewable energy markets. Regulations for carbon are ever-evolving and global energy demand is shifting from fossil fuels to low-carbon and renewable sources. OPIS has expanded its Carbon Suite with the introduction of CAMIRO – an essential global resource of news and deep-dive insights on policy, rulemakings and legislations paired with sophisticated price forecasts. We are seeking a passionate and analytically minded intern to join the OPIS CAMIRO team. As a Carbon Policy & Markets Intern, you will be first and foremost a policy sleuth—tracking developments, deciphering regulatory language, and understanding the political and economic drivers of carbon markets.
