Stellar Solutions is seeking an experienced and accomplished OPIR Systems Engineer to support fast-paced operational projects. The candidate will collaborate with senior management, technical project directors, systems engineers, customer stakeholders, mission partners, and development contractors to ensure systems are deployed effectively and sustained throughout the mission lifecycle. The Intelligence Group provides high-end systems engineering and integration support, software development, and data analytics to national security and military intelligence customers. We help our clients meet complex mission objectives by delivering trusted technical expertise, innovative solutions, and forward-leaning technology. This role offers a front-line opportunity to influence the future of U.S. space-based surveillance and intelligence. As a trusted advisor embedded with our government partners, you’ll be driving critical decisions and guiding the integration of advanced OPIR systems.   • Lead OPIR system integration and requirements closure by facilitating Systems Engineering Lifecycle Readiness Reviews (SELRRs) and System Engineering Technical Reviews (SETRs) for future space and ground systems
  • Chair and guide Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) and technical working groups to evaluate engineering artifacts, operational concepts (CONOPS), and system architecture deliverables
  • Assess Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) to identify technical interdependencies, scheduling gaps, and potential program risks
  • Drive risk identification and resolution, managing the risk register and supporting mitigation strategies through the Risk Management (RM) process
  • Collaborate with government customers and industry partners to assess program maturity and readiness across each phase of the Intelligence Community Lifecycle Acquisition process
  • Provide high-level technical consultation and decision support, coordinate stakeholder meetings, and develop recommendations to inform senior government decision-makers
  • Bachelor’s degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master’s degree with 10–13 years, or
  • Ph.D. with 7–9 years
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance w CI poly
  • Experience with systems integration, requirements sell-off, and closure within space and space-related ground architectures
  • Familiarity with mission planning, control, or processing functions supporting space missions
  • Proven ability to identify user and enterprise requirements, perform gap analysis, and drive resolution
  • Strong understanding of intelligence community mission environments and core systems engineering practices
  • Effective communicator with experience briefing senior-level government officials (O-5/equivalent or higher)
  • Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and digital engineering environments
  • Certifications such as INCOSE, DAWIA, Agile, or PMP
