About The Position

Kaiser Permanente - Washington Permanente Medical Group is seeking a BE/BC Ophthalmologist to join their team on an hourly locums basis. This role is primarily based at the Bellevue Medical Center, with occasional coverage in Federal Way, WA. The ophthalmologist will provide comprehensive consultative and surgical services for various eye diseases, contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Ophthalmology (BE/BC).
• Experience in providing surgical services for eye diseases.

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training in subspecialties such as pediatric ophthalmology, glaucoma, corneal disease, retina, oculoplastics, or orbital disease.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive consultative and surgical services for a variety of eye diseases and problems including cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, eye muscle problems, and glaucoma.
• Collaborate with a team of board-certified ophthalmologists and subspecialists to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Participate in the verification of COVID-19 vaccination status as a condition of employment.
