Requirements

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology
  • A proven history of successful surgical outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Preserve vision and enhance quality of life for patients with glaucoma and complex optic nerve disease
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and stage a full spectrum of glaucomatous conditions, determining when medical, laser, or surgical intervention is indicated
  • Perform comprehensive pre‑operative and post‑operative assessments to ensure optimal outcomes for glaucoma and cataract‑glaucoma surgeries
  • Conduct precise, evidence‑based glaucoma procedures using modern surgical and laser technologies
  • Provide attentive longitudinal care, monitoring intraocular pressure, optic nerve health, visual fields, and disease progression
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, optometrists, technicians, scribes, and administrative staff to deliver seamless, high-quality glaucoma care
  • Manage a wide range of ophthalmic conditions, with emphasis on primary and secondary glaucomas, angle‑closure disease, complex anterior segment pathology, and co-management of cataract and glaucoma patients
