About The Position
Center For Sight is seeking an experienced, motivated and compassionate Ophthalmic Technician. This position is based out of multiple Sarasota locations. This Ophthalmic Technician will provide world class eye care. He or she will perform patient workups and ophthalmic testing including, but not limited to: history taking, scribing, visual acuity, lensometry, tonometry, motility, visual fields, pupil assessment, manifest refractions, administering anesthetic & dilation drops, and other special tests, as needed. They may also perform various clerical, stocking, and maintenance functions.
