About The Position

In medical practice since 1919, Wolfe Eye Clinic is a multi-specialty clinic providing surgical services and vision care throughout Iowa. At Wolfe Eye Clinic, we create Better Vision for a Better Life. We have an opening for a Full-time Ophthalmic Technician in our Marshalltown Clinic.

Requirements

Experience in the field is required.

OCT experience
Visual Field experience
Fundus Photos

Responsibilities

Provide excellent patient service.
Complete auxiliary testing.
Document patient history.
Perform visual field testing.
Take diagnostic images such as OCT’s.
Disinfect and maintain clinical equipment.
Prepare, enter, and maintain patient electronic health records.
Other clinical duties as assigned.
Some day-time travel is required depending on clinic need for the day. Potential travel could be to Ankeny, Pleasant Hill, Cedar Falls/Waterloo, Hiawatha, West Des Moines, Ames & Fort Dodge. When traveling outside your base clinic mileage and time on the road will be reimbursed.
Candidates must demonstrate excellent patient service, oral and written communication skills, pay attention to details, the ability to multi-task and be highly organized.
Candidates are required to work independently and within a team, maintain confidentiality of corporate and patient information and demonstrate high ethical standards.
